Essential Points to know before Attempting both IELTS Modules
Duration: Total 40 Minutes
- 30 minutes for listening to the audio
- Additional 10 minutes to transfer answers (Paper-based test)
- 2 minutes to check answers (Computer-based test)
Content:
No difference in content between Academic and General Training Listening tests.
Test Structure:
- Sections:4 (same for both Academic & General Training)
- Questions: 40 (10 per section)
Assessment Criteria:
Each question is worth one mark. There is no negative marking.
IELTS Listening Track:
You will hear the audio track ONLY ONCE.
Spelling Guidelines:
Both British and American Spelling Versions are accepted.
Answer Format:
Both UPPERCASE and LOWERCASE are accepted, but I recommend using UPPERCASE for transferring your answers.
Instructions:
Follow specific instructions carefully, such as “Write no more than THREE WORDS. You may write one, two, or three words, but never more than three.
